 2010 PIHL PENGUINS CUP PLAYOFFS 3/11/2010 Don Rebel The opening round of the Class A high school hockey playoffs are in the books. Seeds 5 through 8 were all winners this week, setting up the Quarterfinals next week between the top eight finishers in the classification. McConnell leads Chartiers Valley to that programs fifth WPIAL crown and first since 2004 with gold in Class AAA. Meanwhile, Westinghouse three year hold on the City League girls crown ended when the Bulldogs were edged by the Perry Commodores.
