MOTHER NATURE WINS AGAIN - WPIAL EXTENDS BASKETBALL SEASON 2/10/2010 Don Rebel With the exception of a couple of games here and there, Tuesday will mark the fourth straight day the WPIAL boys and girls basketball schedule and the PIHL high school hockey slate have been wiped out due to poor weather. With another storm approaching Western Pennsylvania Tuesday and Wednesday, more cancellations are expected into Thursday. Originally scheduled for Saturday, the massive winter storm that blew through western Pennsylvania Friday night and Saturday morning forced the district to postpone the AA and AAA team finals until Monday. Now district officials have postponed them again until Tuesday afternoon at Fox Chapel High School.
