What a season this has been for the Jeannette Jayhawks and the Serra Catholic Eagles. They both won WPIAL football championships this past fall with the Jayhawks winning a PIAA football crown as well. Then last month, most of those same players struck gold on the hardwood, as both Jeannette and Serra captured WPIAL boys basketball titles. Now, both schools are celebrating state basketball crowns as they both win PIAA titles this weekend at Penn State University. Chester in Class AAAA and Steelton-Highspire in Class AAA also win boys basketball gold balls. Here is a look back at all the results from the three week PIAA boys basketball playoffs.
