WPIAL Softball: 2008 Review and 2009 Preview
3/20/2009 - Don Rebel
Vincentian Academy liked the gold they won in the WPIAL softball Class A playoffs in 2008 so much, they captured some more of it by winning the PIAA state crown as well. The Royals were joined on top of the WPIAL softball championship platform last spring by three other top-seeds, Latrobe in Class AAAA, Ellwood City in AAA and Riverside in Class AA. Now as the 2009 season begins, lets look back at '08 and ahead to '09 in WPIAL Softball.
