Student Athlete Spotlight - Spencer Lynn
|
|
Spencer Lynn is a senior at Belle Vernon Area High School. A four year letterman of Belle Vernon football,
he played linebacker and fullback, and never came off the field during a game. He was varsity captain for
two years, a two time Big 7 Conference All-Star, Defensive MVP, and led his team in tackles his junior and
senior years.
Spencer also excels in the classroom where he maintains a 3.9 cumulative GPA, is a Highest Honors Student,
and member of the National Honor Society. Also he has volunteered his time with the Mon Valley Toys for Tots
program, is a Salvation Army Bell Ringer, and took part with his football team in a highway cleanup project.
He has worked very hard both in the classroom and on the football field.
Next year, he will continue his football career at California University of Pennsylvania on a football scholarship.

| How to Get Your Student in the Spotlight |
|
|
Balancing sports, schoolwork, and other activities is one of your
child's greatest challenges. We at MSA Sports would like to
spotlight some of these students who do just that — and
do it WELL!
Parents, teachers, family members and friends, we need your help
identifying students to feature in the Student Athlete Spotlight.
Send a photograph of the student, along with some biographical
information. Student bio should be brief (2 or 3 paragraphs) and
include sport played and position, academic and other honors, GPA,
extracurricular activities, and any other information that helps to
showcase the achievements and character of this student athlete.
Once your child is selected we will send you a permission form to
allow us to post the student's picture and profile. Please
use this form to submit a student
for consideration.
