Student Athlete Spotlight - Deanna Tritinger
|
|
Deanna Tritinger is a Junior at North Allegheny High School and currently maintains a 3.7 GPA. Her academic focus is on technology education.
As a member of the NA High School's TSA club, she competes annually at the regional competition and has placed in both years of that
competition. She is also the starting pitcher for NA's softball team.
In addition to playing for NA, Dee also plays for the Pittsburgh Power Travel Team where she has had many victories and accomplishments,
including the honor of being a member of the Queen of Diamonds All Star Team. In her community, Dee teaches pitching lessons to young girls.
She started pitching around the age of 6 and wants to inspire young girls to try their hardest and push themselves to become the best they
can be. She practices and trains daily and has done so since she began at age 6.
Dee is looked to for motivation and is helping to eliminate the stereotypes associated with athletes.
She is helping make the world a better place, one pitch at a time.

| How to Get Your Student in the Spotlight |
|
Balancing sports, schoolwork, and other activities is one of your
child's greatest challenges. We at MSA Sports would like to
spotlight some of these students who do just that - and do it WELL!
Parents, teachers, family members and friends, we need your help
identifying students to feature in the Student Athlete Spotlight.
Send a photograph of the student, along with some biographical
information. Student bio should be brief (2 or 3 paragraphs) and
include sport played and position, academic and other honors, GPA,
extracurricular activities, and any other information that helps to
showcase the achievements and character of this student athlete.
Once your child is selected we will send you a permission form to
allow us to post the student's picture and profile. Please
use this form to submit a student
for consideration.
